Our Mission

The Atman Foundation was founded with the mission of making a meaningful contribution to addressing the vulnerabilities experienced by many in Chile. As one of the most unequal countries in the world, with over 2 million people living below the poverty line, the challenges are immense.

At Atman, we unite individuals driven by a desire for change and a deep understanding of the complex nature of poverty. We are committed to working collaboratively with people who live or work in the communities we aim to support.

We recognize that poverty and vulnerability are deeply rooted in social structures and extend far beyond economic factors. They impact multiple aspects of life, including mental health, cultural identity, education, and security. This systemic issue will continue to perpetuate itself unless meaningful action is taken.
